Chapter Ten

Darren had never experienced anything so good in his life. He couldn’t imagine what it would feel like to actually have real sex with Cooper. Seeing Cooper’s hand wrapped around the penis that jutted out from his big, strong body had Darren imagining what it would feel like to have that flesh invade him. Cooper was wider than Darren. But by the heated looks Darren had got when he’d taken himself in his hand and followed his mate’s movements, Cooper approved of what he had.

Darren brought his hand up his chest at Cooper’s order, flicking a fingernail over a pebbled nipple. He heard a high-pitched keening sound and belatedly realised it had come from him. If he hadn’t been so captivated by the spikes of pleasure arching through his body, he probably would have been embarrassed. He’d had no idea that his body was capable of these kinds of sensations.

An ache churned deep in his gut, but instead of fearing it or feeling as though he should back off and stop the strokes of his hand, he felt some internal demand to go faster, harder. It was as if he were racing up some hill with no destination in sight, but somehow knew that if he stopped running he’d regret it.

He wanted Cooper’s kiss. His mate’s mouth had the ability to shut up Darren’s racing mind and allow him to sink into the new feelings that Cooper had brought to life.

“Please…”

“Please what? What do you need, Darren?”

“I…I need… I don’t know. Help me.”

Darren closed his eyes in shame. He didn’t know what he was doing. Didn’t know how to get where he was going. He knew what was supposed to happen. He’d seen it when the other wolves in his former pack had had sex in the den.

The bed beneath him shifted and Darren rolled towards the dip. His side came in contact with warm flesh. Cooper’s hands started to caress and pet him. The touches were so different than when they’d had their clothes on. He wanted to feel Cooper everywhere. He let go of his shaft and reached out for him.

Cooper’s hands were constantly in motion. Every part of Darren’s body was stroked and caressed—his arms, legs, sides, back. His skin felt as though an electric current ran just beneath the surface, the energy building with each touch. If he didn’t find some way of getting rid of it, Darren feared he’d spontaneously combust.

His moans were smothered by Cooper’s mouth. Darren opened, hungry for the feel of Cooper’s tongue in his mouth again. Darren turned more towards Cooper’s body, but when their groins brushed, he nearly shoved Cooper away in shock at the intensity of the sensation, then just as quickly grabbed him to try to grind their bodies together for more.

Cooper pulled from his kiss and pressed against him to separate their bodies. “I want to taste you. Will you let me?”

Darren opened his eyes and blinked several times. Cooper had said something about tasting? Weren’t they already doing that? Cooper tasted amazing.
